RE: Can you explain why earnings decreased with 40% since we get paid in SBD?

It went a bit above $1 USD after the announcement that Steemit had been sold to Justin Sun. Steem also went up to $0.30. It came back down. It looks like it was just a momentary boost because of all the hype.
