Should Steemit Have A Block Button?
I have been thinking, should Steemit.com have a block button? With a large platform like this, it's possible to pick up some people who just don't like you. Like on YouTube you can ban someone from your channel. One guy bullied me because I couldn't understand what witnesses do on these platforms. I didn't deserve being treated like that for one little thing. Muting did NOTHING because they guy was still able to bully me. If Steemit had a block button of some sort, I could have gotten him to leave me alone. Muting doesn't do anything because they can still see you. Unless a simple update to where if you do mute someone you can't see each other.

Someone started downvoting me for 2 weeks because I commented on his “enemy’s” post. Muting did nothing to help
If the mute button was more effective then that person shouldn't be able to see you

Mute button is just for you..to not see someone's posts..even if you still follow them...but not the other way around..
This is referring to a block button to block bullies etc.

Mute is useless since they can see you and you cannot see them. Crazy idea.

hmm...
depends on the way you mean by blocking.
If you mean by blocking as in you don't want him/her to see your content anymore but just in a UI(website level) than pretty easy to.
Blocking in the way to prevent revenge downvotes will basically be a hard level code change to the blockchain which itself can be gamed badly....
