Philippine team has been recruiting foreigners or part-Filipinos in other countries. Those players are surely more seasoned and well-trained from other countries. Thus, there goes the naturalized Filipinos to play for Gilas Pilipinas.

If you look at the current line up of Gilas Pilipinas, the players are All-Filipino, and no one was naturalized. It goes to show that the country is improving in training local athletes. There are lots of talented Filipinos out there who deserves to be trained and hired.
