Meat-eaters challenged to eat their ‘pets’ !!!
In the UK, Channel 4 have produced some great programs that people always seem to love or hate.
This soon to be aired offering challenges the meat eaters amongst us to examine our fondness of eating meat by giving the participants a pet animal which would be normally found on the dinner plate.
In 'Meat the Family' , the aim is to see if the family will eventually eat their adopted pet to show why we treat some animals differently to others and highlight the animals journey from birth to plate!
I think this is going to be a really interesting social experiment and hope fully we will all question our eating habits and if all shouldn't be adopting a plant based diet.
