Brave Browser - A Securely Rewarding Browsing Experience! Should I HODL BAT or Invest Into Steem Engine Tokens?

avatar

Having received my first BAT payment from watching ads while using the brave browser a thought has crossed my mind, what shall I do with these tokens? I know it’s not much currently but I do hope someone kind enough will tip me for my YouTube or Twitter channels 😉

I have a typical HODL mindset but I also did dump everything I had into STEEM when discovering it. Now with Steem Engine I am feeling kinda bullish and also kinda experimental, dropped some STEEM rewards in last night for LEOMM and WEED now staked.

I am wondering now, what’s the future of BAT? Does it have the potential for long term gains that our Steem Engine tokens seem to be speculated to hold?

I am leaning to HODL the BAT, diversifying my investment right? Since they are “free” it’s not a loss either way right?

Wrong! Potential developments are hard to predict particularly with price action outcomes.

What I know is I am not putting anything into BAT, ever, yet I can see this to be the next Patreon but not just for content creators!

What’s your plan for BAT?

I would say put your BAT earnings into some of the tokens on Steem Engine because staking those can help you earn by curating content.

Very solid argument though it will be awhile before I have any BAT worth mentioning 😉

Ya, that is one thing with BAT. I think that most people will just mine it for themselves and then sell it and not really use it for what it was intended for, which was for tipping the creators on the different platforms with it. It is a pretty cool concept, but I don't see it really working the way it was envisioned. I also don't see the value of it going up too much higher because of that. I think it may have pretty much leveled out as people will continue to just mine it with their browsers and sell it as they get it.

I've set up a subscription to steemworld by @steemchiller with some BAT. He deserves it for that excellent tool.
