If there is one non-blockchain social media account that every cryptocurrency enthusiasts should have I think it should be Twitter. I like twitter for its ease of use and how information is disseminated on its platform. I began using twitter two years ago but have not really used it on a daily basis like what I am doing right now.

I just won this today. $50 USD of Nimiq cryptocurrency and one of the Ledger Nano I am not sure if it is the Leger Nano S or X.

I am so into using Twitter that I have integrated it into my daily routine to check my Twitter feed for crypto/DLT topics, activities or events that I might be interested in joining. I don’t know how exactly how I began doing this, however, I think I began being active in twitter when I started joining the different contests that crypto projects announced on twitter.

Most of the contest and giveaway I participated in are a simple crypto giveaway, but I have seen and won some of the bigger prizes such as** 2,500 USD worth of Substratum**, 150 USD worth of Huobi Tokens for an international essay contest, 1,000 USD Twitter giveaway from Trade.io and recently an Iphone Xs MAX from Tron foundation.

This does not include the different smaller crypto giveaways some projects and fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts conduct to gain more traction in twitter or just to celebrate a winning trade or a partnership or launching of a program. Many are just marketing efforts to increase followers or for more social exposure.

When I started to win regularly I invited some of my crypto friends over and with varying degrees of success, many of them have already tasted the sweet sweet success of winning. Of course, most of these twitter giveaway is based solely on luck but there are some that require you to be more active or to do some simple task. To give you an example there is one newbie cryptocurrency enthusiast that I am teaching that already earned more than $100 this week alone just by joining the twitter giveaway.

There is also a long-time friend from Steemit that I convinced to join a contest I saw on twitter last year. He won the prize of $1,300 USD at the current rate. All they had to do is just make some effort to join the contest. You will be surprised at the number of cryptocurrencies given out for free on twitter. If you want to partake on these activities and don’t know you can follow me on twitter or better yet you can join this Reddit community that I am currently building as sa repository of giveaways.

You can also follow my account here at steemit but I don’t usually make a blog-post about these different contests as it takes too much time for me to share. Unlike Reddit and Twitter, It takes only seconds for me to share. Just think of it this way these are free contests, lotteries that anyone in the world can join. Since most of the prizes here are digital you almost get rewards instantaneously when the sponsors release them. Best of all of these are totally free and most of the time you don’t need to undergo KYC.
