"Demon Had a Good Day... (Self Portrait)" by Richard F. Yates

[Digital drawing on my phone. 2020. A self portrait...]

Saturday! After a long day yesterday and late night, I slept the hell in this morning---like until almost 9:00 A.M.! (That's three hours later than usual!!!) (Felt weird...)

Once we were finally out of bed, Mariah (the "Boss") made turkey bacon and homemade apple cinnamon muffins!!! Of course, we aren't monsters, so we called the kids and invited them to come over and share the feast.

After breakfast, the girls (Frankie and Elise) went to Ellie's tattoo shop to talk to her favorite skin artist and make an appointment for some new ink, while Mariah and I watched the baby. When the girls returned, Mariah and the little kid went with Frank and Ellie to the store---AND to the Humane Society to look for a new kitten, but the cat section was CLOSED today...for some reason. (They open again on Tuesday. Since Ellie moved out and took her three cats with her, we only have one grouchy, old cat left, so Mariah wants some new fur...)

While they were gone, I worked on my "To-Do List." I finished making Mariah's new car CD (I might do a write-up / review of that tomorrow), and I continued organizing my new art room and got it ready to make a new PAINTING! (Maybe later tonight, but if not then definitely tomorrow...)

Later, after shopping, Mariah and Frankie went to a birthday party for a daughter of one of Mariah's good friend's, while Elise and I stayed home and talked about making music. She's started writing songs and wants me to help her put together some music. (She ordered a Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator to make some beats with...)

Later-later, Mariah, Ellie, and I went to have Mexican food for dinner, and then on to ANOTHER store (I needed some new paint brushes), where Mariah bought Toy Story 4, which I haven't seen yet. Now, we're gonna hang out at home, chill, and watch a movie!

That was today... More stuff tomorrow (and probably more tonight, too! I ain't slacking!!! Sorry, Bob!*)

Later!

*J.R. "Bob" Dobbs advocates the Way of Slack! But the faith based around Bob, the Church of the Subgenius, is also fond of heretics---so I'm calling for a little anti-slack, NOW, which will hopefully pay off in some BIG slack, LATER! (I hope that none of what I'm saying here makes too much sense to you... Woooo!!!)
