Hello all, it's been awhile since my last update post for https://personal.community and hive in general, last post was a month ago! So, here we are. While the boys @rishi556, @cadawg and others have been busy with @nftmart, @edicted doin edicted things, @foxon well.. hes probably the teams assigned FBI agent, who knows what he really does ;) I've been doing real life things and working on my project. This post is about the latter.

Splash Page

When you first land on https://personal.community you are greeted with this landing page.. you can input any users username and hit enter or send to go strait to their profile, currently this will set the site to using the site as that user (the site menu on the bottom right will then show a logout icon to reset this), this system is changing in an update when adding more interactivity features.
Clicking @sn0n down on the bottom of the welcome box will go strait to my profile at https://personal.community/?hive=sn0n.
You will also notice a familiar icon (@blokz / https://blokz.io/) down on the bottom right, this is the site navigation and menu button... more featuers will be coming to that in a future update as well.

Default Profile View

This is the main page for personal.community. Here you will find links to interests & skills this user wants to keep updated on, as well as general profile information. Age/Sex/Location, Bio, website and more.

Alternative Front-Ends

At the bottom of the first page, you will find links to other popular hive websites, currently https://peakd.com by @peakd, @steem-leo's https://hivestats.io & https://hive-engine.com by @aggroed with more to come.

Non-Setup Profiles

But what if a person hasn't setup their personal.community page at https://personal.community/profile_update/ you say?
Aside from saying that the update page is a hot mess of a page currently, I'd say you will still see some basic profile information that is currently saved in profile_json, such as website and location, as well as their posts on the feed tab, and of course, links to alternative front-ends.

Friends

One of the reasons I wanted to make this site, was as a way to keep up with people and tags I wanted to check regularly. Now, I know followers exist, but once you follow 100+ people, it's hard to keep up on specifics, and that is where myspace comes in with its Top8 inspiration... Here you can list your favorite hivians, mentors, etc...

The Feed

Of course, the real reason we are here is to see what people are saying, and their feed is displayed with bare information to get in the way of you finding their recent posts.. Along with a reaction count you should have more then enough information to know if a article is relevant for you to consume, I mean click on and read.

Tags

Skills and Interest Chips and Links on the main profile as well on the bottom of posts will take you to the latest posts for that tag, as seen below. I'm personally not a huge fan AT ALL of curated lists of 'popular'/'trending'/other opinionated posts... I believe we should be presented with the most recent information first, at least that's the focus of this social network.

Viewing a Post

When clicking on a link to a post, you well, you can see the post, along with comments and tags for the post etc... Comments are NOT inline, if you find a comment interesting, click it and see its replies... This is a consumption method that makes sense to me, but it's a bit long winded to explain...

TODO

I want to add more interactive features aside from just updating the profile, things like voting a post, commenting, writing a post, etc..
Refactoring the code to allow feature updates much easier..
Do some sleuthing when clicking a profile of the non-users of the site as far as finding what could be assumed as their favorite tags to show links to those tags.
Parse hive-###### tags as communities and showing the community information and different colors for these tags & community pages.
Maybe switching 'Age' from biological age to the hive account age.
Display reactions (votes) for posts on the tags page.
Add more features to the menu button aside from just linking back to your profile.

Wrapping Up
