Depression & Happiness

Depression, or if you haven't been exposed to it, it can be a vicious bug to live with. It doesn't take you to the edge of your seat and let you know something has gone seriously wrong. It makes you wait with bated breath. When I am feeling down, I do my best to keep a positive outlook, even with everything depressing about my own life.

My favourite example of positive thinking, in general, is The Happiness Hypothesis. It says we are happiest when our thoughts are positive and when our actions have consequences

I am very proud to have come close to becoming a scientist of positive thoughts and helping other people see that their life can be a lot better than they would have thought a few years back, even if your life is still rough. Life-sustaining work in this world can be hard, but when those who need your help to realize their goals are actually getting results, we are better people
