Ready to make the shift back to the old ways....

There was a time before "social media" took over,... And I'm reclaiming my place in that space... Deactivated my facebook, 30 days from now I'll have deplatformed myself.

The next moove will be to 'de-google' my life... That one shouldn't be toooo hard.. lol, who am I kidding, that is gonna be the really hard one, but I think how I'll be going about it is... Sideways? Now, obviously we all have a lot tied to our gmail accounts, so what I'll be doing is delegating all google products to a seperate account from my main one on my laptop, so when a moment of need arises, I can login and see what needs the attention. I've going through and hit inbox zero status (a LOT of unsubscribes later) and it's kinda manageable on a weekly check-in.

So then what? Well, I'll go back to my roots online.... A messenger client and my own personal website (currently under construction), and naturally my preferred blogging platform, hive. As social media as this isn't... I'll mainly be using it simply as a backend for my website to pull posts from.

When completed I'll have a product ready for others to download and setup their own hive personal website, free and open source.
