So finally I sat down to read your piece, without a dictionary. No Google translate. And it went fine!
I love your fish. What a wonderful present from your friend. Thank you for outlining the image of the fish...its form is so much clearer now. And it does look like Perleidiformis.
Your investigation is quite exciting. My son is always sending me news about "finds" that shake up, or add to established theories, so I am used to this line of inquiry.
Forgive the late response, but I wanted to relax and enjoy the German, as well as the blog (though I lack courage to attempt a response in German). Two of my favorite words in this blog: zusammengeschmissen and ausgestorbene. There is a logic to this word construction that delights me.
