Visiting Denpasar Market in a Rainy Morning

It was raining hard this morning. I took my wife to the market. She wanted to buy some vegetables and meat to cook today. We wore rain coats, riding a scooter to the market in our town.

My wife cooks. I don't. Cooking is not my thing. I am alergic to spices smell. She knew what to buy for cooking. So, she went inside to the market. Later I joined to get to the market, to take some photos around the market.

Mind you, since I signed up on steem, I always try to bring my camera to take photos. Who knows I could get great photos or great content to tell. That's how my life is different after steem.

It was raining in the morning in Denpasar.

I walked into the market. Just to see what's there. I never actually went inside the market, only looking from outside. I was a bit surprised that it was quite spacious inside.

There was rain coming through from different places where it was not properly shaded.

There was a lady who sold snacks just in front of the market. She wore a plastic rain coat. I bougt some steamed banana from her.

I continued walking through an aisle where there were many vendors selling fruit, vegetables, flowers and spices. I was a bit careful with my camera since there was water pouring almost every where.

I quite like steamed banana. Best served with black coffee. That was the plan after we finished the market.
