A lot of exciting stuff is happening on Steem right now, but when is that not true?

The bear market might be in full swing, but we are all still having a great time here on Steem. The applications, the tribes, the developments we follow.

There is more to do here today than there was yesterday and this fact seems to ring truer and truer with each passing day.

The long awaited HF21 Release Date has finally been announced by Steemit, Inc. We'll be seeing this go into effect on the 27th of August.

On a side note, the Steemleo scot bot now accepts the tags: #steemleo, #bitcoin and #investing. This will bring more content to the platform, but it will also bring more spammy/irrelevant content. We'll be combatting this content and muting users who continually abuse the LEO rewards pool.

Over time this will bring more content and awareness to our community!

We've also added post beneficiary rewards for LEO tokens. Now, when you set beneficiaries on a Steemleo post, LEO rewards will get sent to the beneficiaries listed.

This post (and all Daily Leo's) have the authors set as 50% beneficiary split between them. This means that 50% of this post's rewards will get burned and the other 50% will be split to all the content creators featured here.

We expect that other tokens will adopt this new feature which means that beneficiary rewards for MOST (and hopefully all tokens, in the near future) will go to the awesome content creators who continue to add value to #steemleo.
