That's a screenshot of my ad board in the showcase, and I've had 1417 views to the board since starting this.

It's humbling to see things come to life if you apply the basic rules of working hard and showing up every day.

My goal with my new ad site:

• I run into people frequently who need more traffic. Don't we all?

• I like helping people. Owning an ad site means I can give people a free place to post an ad. (win)

• IF any free ad posters decide to upgrade, I earn income. (win)

• I need something turn-key to and this is a SaaS product. The monthly expense of owning this is low on my part ($14 a month) for a SaaS service where they are responsible for the backend upkeep. It's turnkey in that respect. (win)

• I want to use this as a method to teach my son about owning a business. (biggest win)

New #TrafficToday hashtag!

I am excited to have this ad board added to my arsenal of tools at my disposal. While I work on my effort to increase my traffic, I'll use the #TrafficToday hashtag that I plan on using on other platforms when I promote my ad board.

Where Does the ad traffic come from?

Essentially the traffic to TrafficToday Adboard comes from two places:

1. I send my own generated paid and free traffic to the adboard from mailers and TEs. That's my core visitor base.
2. When new ads are placed, they have to be activated by reaching 30 points. Take a look at the screenshot. Points are earned largely by advertisers sending visitors to their unique ad url.

That's the viral aspect of it, and it's working. For me I'm thrilled.

Teaching my Son about Entrepreneurship

I am also trying to get my son into online marketing and entrepreneurship. When my son Kai is a little older, I want to use this as a way to train him on ethics, entrepreneurship, and owning a business.

I am just now getting him into the idea of investing and how the Hive blockchain works, and this will also give him something he can use and grow with online. :)

What are my Future Plans for TrafficToday?

It cost me $14 a month to own two boards. I am looking at purchasing a domain name for redirection so I have a prettier URL for my own advertising purposes. I am not going to use the other board yet. I want to stay single-minded for now until I get one off the ground first.

My son and I decided that all revenue we earn from TrafficToday ad board for the next six months is going to be used to buy paid traffic to my Adboard.

A wise man told me people do business with those they know, like, and trust.

To help facilitate that, I am trying to provide value to my TrafficToday ad board users. Their ad gets seen.

Next time someone may decide to upgrade when they see the results and amount of views their ads receive.
