Almost ready to spend CTP tokens outside Steem / Steem-Engine ecosystem!
No, I'm not talking about a different exchange.
I am talking about any online business which wants to integrate CTP tokens as a payment option.
A little over a month ago, I jumped the gun writing a post about an Important Business Integration Development for Steem-Engine via CTP Tribe, after hearing @jongolson mentioning on air shortly before about their work on the new IPN system for the CTP token. If you're not familiar to what an IPN system is, you might wanna start with my first post.
So I waited for Jon to announce it, to write again. But still, as he says, the new IPN system (for the CTP token) is in a pre-launch phase. Hopefully this means it will be fully launched quite soon.
Anyway, the preview looks exactly as I expected.
A system fully capable to take fiat payments through Stripe, but also thanks to the newly developed IPN system by @blainjones, the ability to take payments as CTP tokens.
Yup, CTP Tokens can now be used to buy ANYTHING online using our IPN script.
Not only that, but Jon says they already have 'half a dozen' businesses ready to integrate their new system in the new pre-release phase. But they are open to new collaborations!
This is just 'pre-launch' after all, but we've already lined up a half a dozen program owners ready to implement this script over the next few days...I'll follow up with another post and highlight our amazing launch partners and their websites soon.
The new business integrations will likely improve the liquidity of the CTP token, and if successful, most likely its value too, since it offers great use case possibilities for the token. But this is only my opinion.
I was highly pumped up one month ago about the growth perspectives and opportunities this apparently simple move has brought to our ecosystem. I still have the same feeling.
If you are not a member of ClickTrackProfit, it might be a good moment to join. I believe the flagship website will be the first to support the new IPN system and where you will be able to observe and test it.

I fully agree with your conclusion and hopes for this @gadrian, being able to make payments with the CTP token brings a ton of use case, and also functionality that the Steem blockchain has not had before if you are a non-coder, keep up your great work and stay awesome.

Yup, although I haven't seen it, that IPN script should be easy to integrate by a regular website owner without coding skills.

Thanks for the support man! Yeah we should be ready to roll out the first businesses here in the next day or so. Blain is doing the Thanksgiving thing with his family, but I know he's already working with the owners to integrate.
