I did two things today.

Firstly: another day another milestone. Today I have crossed the 400 hp line.

This one took awhile to reach. I admit, I wasn't powering up every little bit I got. I used quite a bit of liquid hive over on H-E to pick up some shiny new coins. I also delegated quite a bit to many projects - all of which are providing me dividends. This should - in no way ever - be construed as financial advice. I just invest with my gut and often times shiny object syndrome. It does not always pan out.

If you are leaving HE coins sitting around and collecting dust... Why? Delegate them to a pool somewhere. Daily dividends are an awesome thing. You can not only gain back the coins you send out, but, depending on the pool, you can get shares of others as well. Plus, you can get powerful upvotes. More hive, more delegations, more hive. WIN WIN WIN. You can undelegate at any time. Unlike dlease(which I use and like) it can take days to power down. I don't know about you, I personally hate being locked in.

The second part of today's twofer: I made a podcast. I thought anchor.fm was the way to go. It may be. Unless I'm blind, I saw no edit tools. Sure, you can record through the browser. That's convenient. You end up with a WYSIWYG or in this case hear. If you have a great mic/setup, no worries. If you are not rich like me, you have a fair to middling headset. So, you end up with a recording that's replete with pops and clicks galore. I wound up downloading my file and using audacity. Great little free program. Once I installed another plug in, I was able to open and edit my sound file. It's better now - although, you may not think so. I will be saving up for better equipment if I'm going to stick with podcasting

I beg your indulgence. They will get better. If I had waited until I was perfect and I had the most awesomest gear, it would never get made. I'd keep finding reasons not to.
