CoinStats - Crypto Portfolio Tracker to Discover

Introduction

I came across this APP, seeing a contest on Trybe, a site where I share my crypto content. It is cool when you discover new products that the crypto sphere has to offer.

I love that the APP installed itself in French by default. I normally prefer to set it up in English, but it is cool to have it in my native language.

My experience with the crypto portfolio

The first thing I tried was to track one coin with the crypto portfolio integrated as a feature. In less than 2 minutes, I figure out how to add it with no trouble.

I love to see the value in CAD (Canadian Dollar) and found that option immediately. You need not pay for a course to find what you are looking for, and the interface is user-friendly.

Overall, the team has kept things simple out of the box.

The best features

The one thing I like the most is to track specific coins on the APP. When you have over 2000 coins on the market, you want to remove the distraction.

The feature I love the most is to see the news related to some specific coins. You can see them under the coin you select on the APP.

The general news section summarizes what happened in the cryptosphere.

Compare to other APP on the market

The only APP I use on my smartphone is the CoinMarketCap APP that I used to keep track of a few coins. This APP offers a lot of features, but I barely use 5%.

What I like about Coinstats is that things are simple and go straight to what you need to track your cryptos.

There is a feature that is a little costly, the pro version at $52.99. I believe the team can offer it for free and find a new way to monetize their APP.

What features to add?

One feature that can be cool to have is recommendations and analysis of potential coins to invest. The aim is to save time to search and have ideas on where to look.

Maybe having more options to customize the news feed and offer more specific niche categories would also be nice.

I believe this section has the potential to improve.

Advice to set up and navigate features

People don’t need 10 applications on this niche and only one is enough. So far, the team has made something useful out of the box.

Continue with this philosophy in mind and keep things simple, the same way as the Google search engine.

Conclusion

I will test the APP in the coming weeks and see if this one is for me. I like my experience so far and especially the easy navigation to keep track of specific coins and their related news.

They can improve the news sections as sometimes, that section takes too much time to load.

Overall, great crypto tracking software and news to stay informed into this exciting space.
