Watching the Daily Swings of the Crypto Market? You Need a Distraction!

Unless you're a daily trader or trying to find a good point to enter or to exit, staring at the daily crypto market swings isn't good for you. Especially if you decided to hold and market keeps going down.

So, find something to do other than checking the charts every half an hour! Otherwise it will drive you crazy and you'll look and feel like all your ships have sunk. Which isn't necessarily true, unless you sell.

Anyway, burying yourself in work can be a solution. You won't have time to check out the charts. And if that work is productive and you get paid for it (preferably not in crypto, so you won't go into a vicious cycle of thinking you work for nothing or for less and less as time goes by), your spirit will go up as well in time.

Then you'll be able to tackle the long bear market from the crypto land more detached.

The alternative is to find distractions or hobbies you enjoy and focus on them. This might be a good example of when a distraction is actually good for a change. If the distraction or hobby drives you away from the laptop and keeps you apart from your internet connection on your phone, even better.

You don't like to do anything? I don't believe you! But even then there's a solution. Winter is coming. Hibernate! Just kidding... That would be bad for your health. Better option: go outside and take a walk. Every day!

I am not a trader but still I am checking almost hourly the crypto prices. Will have to get a day job as of next year and it will be easier to pass such phases. I might even see with different eyes dips like the current ones.

Yeah, when I have nothing to do, I find myself checking out the prices too. And often that's depressing. A day job may be a solution. Or working online if you have a particular set of skills that's in demand.
