We woke up to this article in the Papers today in Kenya.

Apparently there was a crypto scheme doing rounds and a lot of people have lost alot of money.

I cringe every paragraph I read.

It's so amazing to see how gullible and misinformed people regarding this space. I mean, it's the 21st Century. People need to seriously invest more time into gaining information, knowledge and understanding of upcoming trends and technology.

I am not even sure how this thing was run, all I know is it promised to be a better local crypto than Bitcoin, Crazy!

People clearly have nearly to Zero understanding of how the #blockchain works.

Unfortunate as this maybe, I will not be surprised to see people same for the same old trick in the next decade.

Why?

Because humans are easily driven by Greed and the need to earn quick money. I just hope those of us in here will not fall for such tricks.

I have a feeling we shall see alot more scams in this space in the coming decade. You just have to keep your eyes open and keep on seeking information, after all they do say **knowledge is power right? **
