India vs Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka having batted first made 264 runs and India chased this with ease with both the indian openers making centuries. This is the last world cup match for Lasith Malinga and he will be remembered as a legend.
Australia v South Africa: this match was more interesting. Out of form South Africa beat Australia by 10 runs and pushed Australia to 2nd position. South Africa made a massive score of 325 runs and Australia never gave up the chase even though they lost wickets early. Nice contest.
It’s semifinals time.
India will play New Zealand on Tuesday in the 1st semifinal. These two teams have not competed so far as the league match was abandoned due to rain.
England will play against Australia on Thursday and it will be mouth watering contest.
