Some Nonsense Writing

So while out looking for the shiney new thing,
We were distracted by the dog.
"You don't want to look over there," she said.
"But let's dance beneath this log."

And so we danced beneath the log on the beach,
While the cat climbed the giant's leg.
"Keep that up," said the giant,
"And soon I'll have a pirate's peg."

Then we ran away from the pirate's wrath,
And passed a monkey in a bath.
"Ooooh oooh aaah ahh,"
"This stanza doesn't rhyme quite right."

We saw some zebra's playing ice hockey;
They looked rather silly on the ice.
A great time was had by all,
Except for the puck shaped mice.

Was it a dark and stormy night?
None of us could really tell.
While we were wondering about the weather,
We all fell down a well!

"Well, well, well," said a voice from up above.
Looking up we saw the dog.
Strangely, before our very eyes,
He turned into a hog!

A thundering voice could be heard from afar:
"Bacon!" boomed the voice full of ire.
Well, the hog went running,
Fast, fast away from the fire.

Then up we climbed, out of the well,
Finally, to claim our stake.
We all wanted to end this dream,
But we were already awake!
