The 31 Sentence Contest Winners: Round 16

The 31 Sentence Contest Winners.png

We had three entries this round:

(1) @oivas - Penta Dragon

(2) @free-reign - Origami Dragon

(3) @justclickindiva - The DINOSAUR

Before the judging...

Okay. I've been a member of the YMCA for about five years now. On rare occasions when I'm headed up to the stretch room to do my morning exercises, I will find these origami creatures posted up like a villain just chilling, waiting to plot out an attack on some innocent gym person on their way to work off all that stuff that they know they should not be eating.

I've seen a scorpion and a couple of others that escape my memory at the moment.

I've never met the person who leaves these here, nor have I seen them placing them there.

It does bring a smile to my face almost every time that I see them because it is something out of the ordinary. Maybe that is why they do it. I will stop and take a picture if I have my phone on me to do so.

No, I don't do origami myself. That takes time that I haven't wanted to spend on learning how to do it. Good for the brain though. Maybe someday.

Now for the judging.

First Place

@oivas - Penta Dragon

Second Place

@justclickindiva - The DINOSAUR

Third Place

@free-reign - Origami Dragon

Round 17 is out. Come stop by if time permits.

Congratulations to the winners. 🥳

I once bought an origami book but I can not figure it out. I guess I am too stupid to understand the descriptions. I gave up on it.
I believe @cloudblade knows how to do it. I saw in the Netflix series "Black mirror" in one of the first episodes see a lady do it too.. So easily she fold the penguin. It is art for sure.

Good luck with the contest.

Thanks so much @wakeupkitty for your support and the support of this project. It certainly is an interesting one trying to complete a story in 31 sentences with varying sentence lengths.

It is easier as thought it's just mine are messed up after posting. Perhaps I can figure out if it has to do with a certain site/dapp? I wish you fun and a great day. 💕

Thank you @oivas. See you next week. looks like an interesting prompt picture. Sometimes the picture speaks to me and sometimes I'm left scratching my head. Those times, I just move on if nothig visualizes into a story for me after a few days. But the varying sentence length is what makes this contest unique for me. It's a real challenge sometimes.

Same here @justclickindiva... In fact, I told Tris that I love this contest precisely because it tests us to the core. Sentence and total sentence limit. Amazing!

Nice meeting you, by the way! 😊
