The Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex was an arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

History
In Soviet time, it was called V. I. Lenin Sport & Concert Complex (Sportivno-kontsertnyy kompleks im. V. I. Lenin). The complex was completed in 1979 and opened on May 19, 1980.

Besides concerts, the arena was used for various sports, notably tennis, as it was the location of the St. Petersburg Open. Other sports events hosted at the SKK include bowling, tennis table, fencing. The SKK was also used for some trade fairs.

SKK Peterburgsky is included in the list of the greatest engineering achievements of the 20th century thanks to the unique roof structure - a giant span of 160 m covered with a thin steel shell - a membrane.

This list was compiled in 1988 by the French Scientific and Technological Society, on the centenary of the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The St. Petersburg Sports Complex is included in this register along with other famous European architectural masterpieces - the Channel Tunnel, the Norwegian platform for oil production from the bottom of the North Sea and the transport overpass connecting all the islands of Japan.

On January 31, 2020, the roof and a large portion of the walls collapsed during the process of dismantling, resulting in the death of one worker.
