It's time for my first Creative Coin Curation Report!

After a little more than one week of curating on creativecoin.xyz I can finally share a few of the cherries out of the big creative pudding with all of you on Steem. For those that are confused or not aware: creativecoin.xyz is meant to promote creative content made by Steemians, and upvotes happen in CCC on posts posted through their front-end or that are posted with the #creativecoin hashtag.

I was lucky enough to be invited to become a Creative Coin Curator as you can read in this post, and have had fun seeing the creative posts all come together. With the spammers, tag abusers and general rotten apples (plagiarists :D) set aside, this first week has been a lot of fun and spiked up a lot of conversations about what is creative content. In the end a lot of things can be creative and it's up to the curators to decide what deserves a nice upvote.

A few of the posts I share today are what I deem creative. I'm a very visual person so I'll always lean towards visual arts like photography and painting and illustration and animation. I also very much appreciate crafts, stuff you make with your own two hands, and as long as it's not just something from a manual like an IKEA closet I'll probably be impressed that you made that thing and I'll upvote your post just for that.

But let's stop rambling and just go share a few posts.

I don't think it's useful to share all my curation every week, so I'll probably pick a few cherries each weak that I think stood out, or if I think one author stands out every week I might not share his/her post every week as to get eyes on a more diverse range of creatives. With all of that said, here we go, my picks from last week!

@svemirac made an incredible post showing of light interference aka physics turning into art. It's not up to me to explain as he's the science nerd if only looking at the two of us, so quickly jump to his post to see what I mean.

@mariya-lorenz is a master of flower/still-life photography. She goes above and beyond to make a pictures of a relatively 'common' subject stand out from the crowd and show her craft and good taste in every single shot. Check out her and her other posts.

@bambuka showed creativity in creating a tiny house interior from wood brought from the woods. It's gorgeous and one of those things I would probably never do or be able to do myself so it makes me an admirer.

Last but not least is @sanderjansenart - a person I've been following for a long time now for his unique and undeniable recognizable illustration style. This time he shares a lovely timelapse video in which you can see his work evolve (this can be read in two ways ;-)).

I hope you enjoyed some of these posts and if you did follow the authors for their art and value they provide to Steem and #creativecoin. I don't mind being pointed towards creatives you think are deserving of some extra eyes on their posts and if you think someone gets overlooked please let me know by sharing one high-quality post of this person in the comments.

Don't beg for upvotes though and preferably don't share a post of yourself. For me curation is about uplifting others and giving them what you would have loved to receive if you had made that exact same post.

Cheers and see y'all next week!

Awesome! :D We have logo/banner in our Discord server if you want something to work from - but maybe something is already being created in your mind without external input :D Cheers @meesterboom! CreativeCoin is awesome :-)

Hehe, I will join and have a look. Although my animations are more of the violent stick man thing than the polished lovely advert thing :O)
