Is Beauty Industry earning from People's insecurities?

Hey Dear Steemians!
Today I want to write about a very hot subject. Beauty industry is been very successful and popular now a days, although it was always popular but this era has bought it to next level.
It is almost $532 Billion of price. There's lot of money in the business. But Is Beauty Industry earning from People's insecurities? Is it so?
There are so many youtubers, and influencers on Instagram who make money on making videos of makeup and doing various collabs for example- James Charles, Huda, Kardashian Sisters etc many have made lots of money.
But for a fact in order to hide insecurity of having thin lips or thick nose or little eyes or bad skin or whatever, people apply make up on body and face, to look perfect, when god have not made us perfect then why to look one?

I am not against makeup, It's good sometimes, but majorly the entire industry is based upon insecurities, If we talk about Plastic surgery, It was initially made for the injured people who through the help of it plastic surgery can fix their accidental disfigured body parts. But what now has been in trend are the fillers, injections and implants all just to loo perfect and yes, normal people without god given or accidental imperfection tends to use plastic surgery to hide their insecurities regarding their specific body part.
It is a fact that do what makes you feel good! But here it isn't good. Everyone is perfect in their own way, no need of going through multiple surgeries until or unless you are accidental disfigured.

I just would like to conclude by saying that All you people who have been bullied or feel insecure about their specific body part, you all are extremely perfect in your own skin. please leave plastic surgeries for needy people only.
