A late dinner…

I think I know why the guy I posted yesterday was staring silently and a bit shocked to the scene in front of him...
Nope, he wasn't staring at the sunset... he was staring at:

I'm sure these ladies didn't know where they were picnicking... It must be something cultural...
What? Don't you see it either?
Well, let me explain ...
That platform on which they are sitting, with that swinging arm in the background... is used to scatter the ashes from the urn over the river Scheldt...
In other words... it is a bit like having a party at the cemetery 😊

Well, we're a bit lazy here in Antwerp and as the sea is a bit too far, we do river funerals instead of sea funerals...
After all, it isn't as !DERANGED as it sounds... the river flows to the sea. Just as the !BEER flows into the man 🙃😜🙃

I have never seen a river funeral here and I think it is not even allowed. Anyway, I meant that swinging arm to scatter the ashes into the river - I know such a funeral is a sad thing, but if I imagine how it works, I find it in a !DERANGED way funny somehow ;)

Let the !BEER flow and thus the Sunday become great 🙂

My Sunday has been quite !DERANGED anyway ... I have got wet in heavy rain and drove on a snow covered road, but since this Sunday is almost over let's have a !BEER 🙂
