Finished Crocheted Hat

I finished the hat that I was working on. I am getting a little stronger and I have been able to eat some solid food. During my waking hours, I worked on my hat. I made the hat large enough to fit all of my hair inside of it and still cover my ears.

It also covers the head of a very large teddy bear who is my model. 😊

I ran out of the original yarn that I was using because it was not a complete skein, so I used a black yarn with a similar weight to finish it off. It turned out pretty well, since the main yarn had a variegated pattern of black, white and gray.

This hat will keep my head warm and covered through a lot of cold winter days. I may use the rest of the black yarn to crochet a small collar scarf that would match my hat if I feel up to it.

Enjoy your evening.

Cute hat! (and cute bear).

You could perhaps make matching wrist warmers - often that is enough to keep the hands warm.

That's a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
