Maria picked up her phone. “You have 2 notifications”, said the lock screen. She slided to unlock with certain anxiety, hoping for a message or something that would brighten the day.

First notification read: “Brian has shared a picture”.

Second notification read: “Ashley liked your comment”.

No fun, just as most days. No message from some unexpected person telling her to hang out. No thrilling activity in which to take part of. “When did life get so boring?”, she asked herself.

After being single for years, John begin watching loads of videos on YouTube on how to approach women in the streets. Determined to put into practice what he had learned he went downtown and started looking around.

Most girls looked intimidating in some way and he realized the whole approaching thing was easier said than done. Suddenly his eyes met directly with those of one of the most beautiful girls he had seen in his life.

He filled up with every drop of courage inside him and went to talk to her. Surprisingly she was very receptive and he felt it was very easy to communicate. They talked for around twenty minutes when another girl approached them.

The girls gave each other a long tender kiss.

“I have to go, John. It was really nice talking to you, have a great day!”, said the girl as she waved goodbye with a smile.
