Learning to decorate a bottle / Aprendiendo a decorar una botella


El día de hoy les mostraré una botella que decoré a partir de materiales reciclados, y personalizar algún espacio vacío en casa.

Today I will show you a bottle that I decorated from recycled materials, and personalize some empty space at home.






Para ello usé los siguientes materiales:

For this I used the following materials


  • Pega blanca escolar.
  • Mecatillo.
  • Pintura al frío blanca y azul.
  • Una botella de vidrio.
  • Tijera.
  • Lazos y cintas.
  • Pábilo.
  • Plantilla.
  • Un plato pequeño.
  • Un pedazo de esponja.
  • School white stick.
  • Mechatillo
  • White and blue cold paint.
  • A glass bottle.
  • Scissors.
  • Ties and ribbons.
  • Pábilo
  • Stencil.
  • A small plate.
  • A piece of sponge.


Let's start decorating / Comencemos a decorar


First of all, the bottle must be clean.

With the sponge, we take a little blue paint and give light, soft touches on the glass bottle until it is completely covered.

Primero que todo, la botella debe estar limpia.

Con la esponja, tomamos un poco de pintura azul y damos toques ligeros, suaves sobre la botella de vidrio hasta cubrirla en su totalidad.



Una vez terminemos de aplicar la pintura sobre la botella, dejamos secar.

Vertemos sobre el plato pequeño una cantidad de pega blanca escolar, cortamos un poco de pábilo y lo colocamos en el plato con la pega, removemos para que se empape.

Once we finish applying the paint on the bottle, let it dry.


Pour a quantity of white school stick on the small plate, cut a little bit of pábilo and place it on the plate with the stick, remove so that it gets soaked.




Una vez esté cubierto con pega nuestro pábilo, lo vamos colocando sobre nuestra botella y luego de cubrirla en algunos espacios, dejamos secar.

Once our pábilo is covered with glue, we place it on our bottle and after covering it in some spaces, we let it dry.



Una vez se secó la pega de nuestro pábilo, vamos a decorar la parte superior de nuestra botella con el mecatillo.

Cubrimos toda la punta de manera uniforme.

Once the glue of our pábilo dried, we will decorate the top of our bottle with the mecatillo.


Cover the entire tip evenly.




Usamos los materiales que tengamos para decorar la parte superior de la botella, en este caso usé una tela transparente, unos motivos bordados y luego procedí a pegarlos.

Al terminar, procedí a colocar un poco de encaje.

We use the materials we have to decorate the top of the bottle, in this case I used a transparent cloth, some embroidered motifs and then proceeded to paste them.


When I finished, I proceeded to put some lace.




Ya casi terminamos.

Ahora hacemos un lacito con el mecatillo y lo pegamos en la botella.

Tomamos nuestra plantilla y mojamos nuestra esponja con un poco de pintura al frío blanca, damos toques suaves sobre la botella hasta cubrir el diseño de la plantilla

We're almost done.

Now we make a bow with the mechatillo and stick it in the bottle.


We take our stencil and wet our sponge with a little white cold paint, we give soft touches on the bottle to cover the design of the stencil.





Para finalizar, Tomamos el pincel mojamos con pintura al frío blanca y tratamos de cubrir el pábilo, luego volvemos a tomar la esponja, con un poco de pintura al frío blanca y damos toques suaves al rededor de la botella.

Es todo, dejamos secar y hemos terminado de decorar nuestra botella.

To finish, we take the brush wet with white cold paint and try to cover the pábilo, then we take the sponge again, with a little white cold paint and give soft touches around the bottle.


That's all, let it dry and we've finished decorating our bottle.




Nuestro trabajo esta terminado.

Decoremos ese espacio en nuestra casa.

Our work is finished.

Let's decorate that space in our house.
