Sailing in the sea of my anguish
Hello everyone at Steemit.
Today I want to share a study for an editorial illustration.
The concept
We have all sailed in our anguishes sometime, like she is now. We can see on her face her expression of concern, her pain, her anguish. Sometimes it only remains to overcome the problems and wait for the storm or torment to pass.
The Technique
For this commission I want to make illustrations in black and white only, but that look finished, not like a sketch. That's why I decided to use ink and a fairly smooth textured paper that absorbed little ink and reflects the black color entirely. Traditional art will always have something very special for me.

Hoy les quiero compartir un estudio para una ilustración editorial.
El concepto
Todos hemos navegado en nuestras angustias alguna vez, como ella ahora. Podemos ver en su rostro su expresión de preocupación, su dolor, su angustia. A veces solo queda remontar los problemas y esperar a que pase la tormenta, o el tormento.
La Técnica
Para éste encargo quiero hacer ilustraciones en solo en blanco y negro, pero que se vean terminadas, que no parezcan bocentos. por eso decidí usar tinta y un papel con textura bastante lisa que absorbiera poca tinta y a su vez reflejara el color negro enteramente. El arte tradicional siempre tendrá algo muy especial para mí.
