Crochet cactus

The cactus also called cactus, have the capacity to store a quantity of water, superior to those that can contain other plants, since they have swollen and fleshy stems, adapted for the accumulation of water, in addition their leaves are modified, in form of thorns to avoid the evaporation of the water. Cactus are a species of plant. They are xerophiles, specialized to live in hot and dry climates. Cacti are members of the family Cactaceae, in the order Caryophyllales.

Feng Shui considers this plant to be a symbol of balance and a protective talisman, its thorns representing such important aspects as safety, protection and persistence. And not only that, they also purify the environment and are a barrier against electromagnetic radiation from electronic devices. It is advisable to place the cactus in the workplace, near the computer and electronic devices. In this way, the negative energy that they radiate will accumulate in the cactus, not in you. Another place that Feng Shui recommends is next to the window, to disperse those negative energies that can come from the outside. While if you place it at the entrance door, it will act as a protective guardian and attract good luck.

The pot is woven, first the base is woven in a circle, then it is lifted by taking a single loop (the inner loop) then in the second and seventh loop it is increased by 4 stitches distributed equally during the loop, while the rest of the loops are worked one stitch for each low stitch until the 12th loop, where again it is woven by taking a single loop this time the outer loop and 2 more loops are woven to finish the pot or porron.

Six low stitches are woven into a magic ring, then in the second row a raise is woven for each stitch, from row 3 to row 10 a high stitch is woven for each stitch, where the high stitch in front and then in back is made.

Eleven chains are woven, then one chain is skipped and three half-stitches are woven on one chain, then one stitch is slipped on the next, and repeated until the turn is complete, then it is twisted and sewn into the shape of a flower.
