It is really heart breaking to hear these stories, at least you have a place to stay now and I really hope that it will all work out soon.
We are before unknown territory, and this is the most scary part.. The situation will probably improve either with higher temperatures (some scientists disagree) or when a vaccine is released.
I send you my positive vibes from Greece, I will be following for good news.
