RE: where is the earth shattering covid19 kaboom?

Looks like the number of daily deaths are up about 40%+- eyeballing it since this post, and the number of new daily US cases have since gone up about 40%. This is normally what is expected to happen (save for issues of lag), but it didn't happen in the period when I made this post.

Unless the lag factor is particularly large in which case covid19 daily death rate would increase more, I could still argue that the daily number of cases is still an exaggeration. But even if exaggerated, it is still up at least 40% and a 3rd wave is confirmed in the daily deaths.
