So far so good...

As you may know, I am confined at home, doing teleworking since a couple of days ago, my company ordered so for all the employees who travel last week to the North of Italy.
Despite some might think it is a kind of forced vacation for me, actually it is not since, due to the same issue, my main Italian supplier is also struggling with the problem of the COVID-19 and so, lots of work and meetings have to be done via videoconference in order to agree and take decisions on what to do if "that" happens...

The good news for me is that according to what I read lately, the most likely time for this virus to present first symptoms on exposed people as me varies between 6 to 8 days.

Since I came back from Venice on Wednesday midnight last week, now I should be in my 8th day of my last exposition to the Virus at Italy.

No symptoms at all for the moment, great for me but also for my family because despite I was the only one under quarantine conditions, my wife and children are living with me and, as you can imagine, it would be a mess if suddenly appears that I developed the stupid sickness...

In Barcelona, my city, there are for the moment only 3 cases, all of them italians who travelled last week to places as Milan or Venice... As far as I know, the three are fine since they are relatively young and healthy. It is like having the flu...that's all.

Tomorrow, I will go for running at noon, I cannot stay here the whole day, of course I will go alone and I will respect the safety distance with the rest of "mortals".

Keep on running!

Exactly. We have in our small town one in quarantine as well, after coming back from Italy. It's too much exaggeration from the media as well. Being cautious and taking action is one thing and starting panic is another.

Good luck, let's hope that the symptons stay away both for you and your family.
Here it is getting closer. Lots of people did celebrate carnaval, so I assume that will be an outbreak somewhere at the end of next week :(

But hey, a !BEER a day, keeps the doctor away!

Cheers,
Peter
