Arcades Fill Machine With Toilet Tissue and Sanitizer

Making a little fun out of the recent panic over coronavirus, more than one amusement arcade in the UK has recently gone and replaced the usual toys with the now highly coveted toilet tissues and hand sanitizer.

Eddy Chapman made the change for his Chapmans Fundland amusement arcade (see above) that is located in Bridlington, East Yorks. Another individual, Rob Braddick, also made the change for his arcade Devon’s Ho Barts Amusement Arcade (see below).

For E. Chapman he said that he wanted to have a little fun in the wake of the growing panic.

"I think all this panic buying of toilet roll has been [ludicrous], and so [I] came up with this idea to hopefully get people to calm down," - Chapman

Now that toilet paper and hand sanitizer, along with other items, are sold out in many places, videos and pictures of stockpiles that people have are going viral.

Various people have been posting videos to TikTok and other places, showing their stockpile of hand sanitizer and other goods.

Some have shared footage of their collections that have upwards of 100+ bottles. Most of the hand sanitizers being shown are from Bath & Body Works, and the hand sanitizer product now shows as sold out on their website, and many stores are fully out of stock too.

Can You Ever Have Enough?

There are some people who are reportedly a collector of the various products coming from this store and that includes hand sanitizer. So before the panic over coronavirus even picked up, they had already been well on their way to stockpiling their favorite items.

They have been building up these collections for years. Some of them have shared their collections with hundreds of tiny bottles of hand sanitizer.

It will probably be weeks or more before you can expect to see a usual stock back on shelves or online, as more people continue to look for hand sanitizer.

For those who can't get their hands on some hand sanitizer, you might even want to try making your own. Or you could just opt for regular soap and hand-washing.

Right now, a number of companies are reaping significant benefits from all of the panic buying and they are names like Campbell, Clorox, Netflix, and others.

Amazon has also recently blocked the sale of new listings for things like face masks and hand sanitizer because of the rapidly rising prices for these goods online.

Some students have been suspended at school for selling 'squirts of hand sanitizer' to fellow students in their class.

Those at Purell and other companies are working overtime to continue producing the goods that are being sold out so rapidly around the world. Until they can accurately catch up with that demand, people should expect to see empty shelves for some time.
