Rainbow Photo Contest: show me your best rainbow shot and win Steem
Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!
During one of my recent hikes around the picturesque landscape of the Sao Miguel Island here on the Azores, I took a photo of what must have been the brightest and most colorful rainbow I have ever seen.
As you can see in the photo, the rainbow was also visible in its entire length, which is another rare thing about rainbows. In fact, it looks like it was some kind of a mini rainbow that was just spanning a lake :)
Anyway, this shot inspired me to host another little photo contest for you. The theme is obvious - I want to see your rainbow photos this time!
You can start submitting your shots in the comment section below from now until Thursday, January 30, 8:00 P.M. CET.
Just one entry per person and don´t forget to add at least a couple of words about your entry. No plagiarism of course, the photo must be yours ;)
I will pick and announce 5 winners next Friday (January 31) and send them 1 Steem each.

Jo, duhy se fotí špatně :) V reálu často vypadá hezky, ale na fotce pak skoro nic není :D Tahle byla ale tak jasná a barevná, že je to vidět i na fotce :) Díky za tokeny! ;)
To jo. Ne vždy sou na fotce tak jasné a výrazné. To co člověk vidí v reálu někdy dostat na fotku není jednoduché. Není zač. :-)

This rainbow is not very prominent, but I liked its reach.
It is a rainbow over the cottage settlement near Pilsen.
Tahle duha není moc výrazná, ale líbil se mi její dosah.
Je to duha nad chatovou osadou u Plzně.

Haha I know! :D But in fact, it was even more impressive and colorful. But it only lasted a few seconds, I was lucky to get this shot :)

Dang, that looks sharp! Did you go after the pot of gold??
And as always, challenge given is challenge accepted: Mine was taken during my hikes on the Andes in Argentina. It's always nice to see a rainbow after few days of pure rain and wind.

I'm gonna be in your contest.
I photographed the rainbow in summer at a festival in Oberhausen, Germany.
The rainbow was very beautiful, but unfortunately most of the festival fell into the water.
