Let's have fun, share our visual memories from our travels, enrich the STEEM community and earn along the way!

What is Travel Photography? It is that type of the Eight Art where we capture culture, people, landscapes, objects, cityscapes, customs, traditions, events, history, etc. and we express our feeling of the time and the place we visited. We all love it, right? ;)

Rules:

  • Comment under this post with one travel photo:
    • Only one entry per participant
    • You have exactly 24 hours to participate
    • Use ONLY your own original work, photos will be checked and plagiarism will be flagged and reported
    • No NSFW images
    • Adding your personal touch, a short story, the location, EXIF data, etc. is not obligatory but will definitely make your entry much more appealing and increase your chances of success ;)
    • If your comment contains more than one image I will consider only the first one. You may create a separate post with your photo if you wish, of course!
  • No Upvote, No Resteem, No Follow required. Of course, all the help and support you give is greatly appreciated and absolutely voluntary.

As you probably know, I am a professional photographer, so please show me your good stuff, I will be looking for things like story-telling, composition, quality, etc. May the best win!

The winner gets 1 SBI share

If you are not familiar with the SBI initiative, check out their blog @steembasicincome. Generally, it is upvotes on your posts for life, a great concept indeed!

This is the ancient Smederevo fortress. The Serbian capital in the fifteenth century and their last defense before the onslaught of the Ottomans.

Its walls could protect the surrounding population from invaders attacks. On an area of 11 hectares, food for many people under siege could be cultivated. On the two sides it was protected by the rivers, and from the third by a deep channel.

Serifos is not the most "famous" of the Cyclades islands but it is definitely one of the most beautiful and easygoing places I have ever been!

This is Chora, the capital of the island, shot under the harsh light of the high noon, probably one of the worst hours to take pictures, especially during the hot Greek summer but still it is one of my favorite pictures that I brought back home!

The MOUNTAIN and native life of the Philippines. The place was surrounded by indigenous people but they live happily, so peaceful and away from toxic surrounding.
This is my entry ror today

There you go, another entry from me. This one is an abandoned part of The Great Wall of China. It's mostly broken, overgrown and best of all empty from tourists. It was a bit of a mission to get there and to walk the stretch from one dam to another, but in hindsight, I consider this as one of my greatest travel memories.

Working travel, shots on the fly.
Monsaraz (Portugal), more info : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsaraz
It was a cloudy, wet and dark day but those were no reasons to not getting delighted with such amazing views...
