Read as many Freewrites as you can. Then tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why.

I would love to nominate https://partiko.app/fitinfun/freewrite-day-662-digital-human?referrer=saun
In this article author wrote beautifully how this digital world aids her disabilities and allow her to be convenient with work from home.
The mentioned part that include "not my child age" touched my heart most. She pointed out some drawbacks like students and children are using this technology in a way that may damage their future as they mostly use this in time killing sense.
Thanks.
Thanks for drawing my attention to this freewrite. I had missed it!
You are welcome @scribblingramma!

Thank you so much for the recommendation, @saun. I am so glad you liked this freewrite.
This week I nominate @myjob for her freewrite about coercion. As usual, she worked the prompt into a story about her real-life adventures as a commercial fisherman. (Fisherwoman?) She writes about how she and her husband redid an old cabin cruiser to use as a fishing boat. She makes it sound so easy....but it had to have been a huge job! And then she describes very clearly the panic she felt every time she had to drive it when they were pulling it out of the water. Finally, she added some nifty pictures of fish she caught. I know very little about life on or near the ocean, so I always learn something interesting from her posts.
Happy to see your recommendation. 👍💕

Just had to pull myself together and remember!
This story is part of an ongoing story. But just on the prompt "digital human", it's a story many can relate to. To want someone to want you back knowing that he wants someone else knowing you couldn't be like the person he wants knowing that you might be even a little awkward and strange knowing that you couldn't possibly change who you are knowing ..... so complicated. But if you ask me, the protagonist is more like what I would want to be... Swing on over to @ireenchew's and start from the very start to see how it ended up here :)

I will because you make it so... complicated. 😅👍💕

Hereby my entry. I hope more freewriters will join and take the time to recommend a freewrite.
My 1st recommendation is written by @sniem5180.
Pflaumenstreusel - taeglicheinneuesthema 87
The used prompt was pflaumenstreusel (plum cobbler)
Right after I wrote and posted my entry this was the first free write I read. I love the writing style, could not stop laughing and recognized a lot.
"I do not like prunes and plums - sickening fruit, full of worms and permanently surrounded by wasps and bees. We had a fruit bearing tree in the garden when we were kids. Dreadful cakes and compotes were made by the parents."
What to write about a word you never heard of and not will not use the internet for to find out what it is?
You split it, write about each part pflaumen (plums) and streusel (sprinkles) something and have your answer.

My 2nd recommendation is written by @hlezama.
Mother kitchen
The used prompt was kitchen.
The good old days, good memories of a kitchen where was going on so much more as just preparing the next meal.
"Learning to cook was never a synonym of being submissive, and that applied to both males and females in our household. The kitchen was the command center where instructions and affection were given and received."
What do you see and smell if you close your eyes, think back at the kitchen of your childhood?

My 3nd recommendation is written by @myjob.
Free Write Monday Prompt Kitchen.
The used prompt is kitchen.
More good, old days. Those days it was normal kids washed dishes and helped going house chores. You were nevetootoo young to learn or do it.
"Thanksgiving and all the Aunts and Uncles and cousins were having dinner with us after dinner Dad told me to do the dishes. The other kids had all taken off. I remember looking at all the pots and pans and dishes, it was overwhelming for a 10-year-old."

My 4th recommendation is written by @wandrnrose7.
Plum Cobbler
The prompt used is plum cobbler
It is a short, funny story about Dan the Cobbler and a broad woman who knows what she wants and how to pay for it even she has no money.
"She shuffled under her burden and made it into the shop heaving the basket onto his bench with a breathy "Ooof!"
Will the cobbler accept her payment?
Read here for yourself.

My two favs for this week are both from the prompt of rat.
First up is @wonderwop telling us another story of his cat Snickers and how this ancient guy is causing trouble at home. Even while getting up in years he can still escape. I can relate to the sneezing fits as I have been having some of my own lately.
https://steempeak.com/freewrite/@wonderwop/day-663-freewrite-wednesday-rat
@nathanthewise used this prompt for some poetry he is so good at creating. In his post we learn of the more unsavory things a rat infestation can bring. And how can you get rid of them? Lots of ideas here, but so far nothing has worked!

Thank you @fitinfunfood for the nomination. 💕

One thing is really important in life and that is, to believe we need to experience and we have to deep dive. For example, we say life is a mixed journey, we believe it because we are experiencing it and what we experience cannot deceive us.
Keep up the good work team and stay blessed.

A weekend freewrite written by @deirdyweirdy got my attention for a sappy story which is usually not her style. Remember your rebellious, teenage years where you think you know everything? I am sure you will be surprised to see another side of @deirdyweirdy's writing talent.
https://steemit.com/weekendfreewrite/@deirdyweirdy/a-change-of-heart-a-weekend-freewrite
And speaking of @deirdyweirdy here is a gem that just had to be seen by other freewriters because she wrote about all of you. I do a lot of rhyming when I write and lately @deirdyweirdy has been commenting on my freewrites in rhymes which are hilarious.. Last week I was trying to get people to use their imagination and to write by giving away SBI for their work. You can read about it here if interested. @deirdyweirdy wrote one with all of you in mind. It was hilarious and I think everyone here should read it. No, this is not a plug for my post. It is past payout. I just wanted everyone to read what she wrote about all of you fellow freewriters and this was the only place I knew where most of you would be able to see it. I posted a photo of a boulder cave and asked who would be the brave explorer and tell me what they saw. Here is what @deirdyweirdy wrote:
Inside the cave is the motley freewrite crew
among them marianne, fitinfun and whatisnew
And what are they doing there? is the question i hear
well I'll tell you the story if you'll lend an ear
my job had collected them all in her boat
for she’s highly professional at keeping afloat
though Bruni was hungry and wanted to go home
and whatisnew wouldn’t stop reciting her poem
wandrnrose she wouldn’t stay in one place
and improv kept punning and started to pace
felt.buzz was doing pushups to deeanndmathews’ song
scribblingmama, owasco and mcgaft sang along
when suddenly tristan and d00k had a fight
about who’d posted first on monday’s free write
which distracted poor my job and she lost control
and the whole bliddy ship well it started to roll
then kitty woke up as she felt the ship sway
and botefarm well he started to pray
then the heavens opened and rain pelted down
and wouldn’t ye know it the ship ran aground
but i’m happy to say that they did have some luck
being guided to that cave by omra-sky’s duck
