Congrats to the winners, those are some wonderful snaps to say the least. Mountain photos looks mesmerizing from wherever the location is, that may become correct by seeing the snaps. I am a lover of such snaps infact.

The Sunset of my Place

This was the last sunset l saw during my vacation to my hometown, where my parents were living. The baranggay road connecting all the neighboring place to our main town market. I missed this place so much and I hope I could able to see my parent again.

Here is my entry for this week:

Have you taken the time to sit and watch the setting sun. For those precious minutes we forget our ordinary lives and we are gifted with moments of splendour where we are transfixed. We are frozen in wander and awe, and we close off everything else in our mind to watch the ball of fire dip below the skyline. For those brief moments everything else is forgotten we are vested into an alternative reality of peace and liberty.

For this week I selected this photo taken on the switchbacks on the Burr trail in Utah.
At some point at the Burr trail, you reach an almost insurmountable wall of rock. It's about 100 miles long.
To get up on this there are several switchbacks on the unpaved remote road. As you can see on the photo the road is winding through the rocks. Each turn is covered with huge holes in the road, no fencing, so it feels rather adventurous.
Exactly my type of road...
