Merry Christmas my friends, today begins the month of December and I'm very happy, one Christmas more or one Christmas less, everything depends from the point of view that you look at it.

   We can be thankful for the good things that happen to us; I believe that feelings are an essential part that fills our spirit and gives us faith and hope to move forward. The love for our family, for our children, friends, neighbors are a fuel that fills you with energy day by day to move forward.

   I want to celebrate and thank you in this end of 2019 for everything that God gave me. I give infinite thanks first of all for having my children, for their health, for their intelligence; they help me a lot and take care of me; thank God they are good students and behave well. What more can one ask of life?

   Secondly, I want to thank you for having my mother still alive, she just turned 84 and is like a fifteen year old girl. To her I owe everything I am in life, this week I talked with my children about my mother, I told them that if it had not been for her insistence and perseverance I had not come this far, always with her love she invited me to be a better person, to help my neighbor, to love God above all things and love the family.

    As I also did not thank God for my life companion, this morning I asked him what he was most grateful for in life and he replied "Love", with mischief we both laughed, but day by day he shows me how much he loves me. With his actions he earns my respect, my understanding and my love.

   My friends, my neighbors are a fundamental part of daily life and I could say that we are one big family, with them I share wonderful moments that I will remember all my life. Many of them have had to leave for other lands and I saw my friend Petra leave this year to another earthly plane, but to them I express my love forever.

In general, I'm very grateful to have "my family, the best gift of life"; I say goodbye 2019 and welcome to 2020.
