Holy shit!!! It’s the first week of November’s releases!!!

Let’s start the show!

This week in DC, we see the first week of the nice looking Acetate covers that run through Batman, Justice League, Deathstroke, and that crazy bitch Harley Quinn. They look nice and are still priced at the standard pricing. Good on DC for that. My only gripe about them comes from a retailer standpoint as these things suck as they sit on the shelves. The plastic cover expands and opens making these either fall off my racks or forcing me to only put up a couple at a time. Not the end of the world though and worth checking out.

Legion of Superheroes #1, King Shazam #1, Young Justice, Batman Universe, Wonder Twins, and Inferior 5 are a few other releases this week.

Marvel throws out a completely unnecessary tie in to Absolute Carnage, New Mutants and X-Force both have new #1’s. The New Mutants has a really pretty Artgerm cover featuring Magik that is worth grabbing.

Amazing Spider-Man centers on Spidey 2099 again. Speaking of that mofo...there are a ton of variant covers dedicated to 2099 that are running through a plethora of titles this week. Daredevil, Doctor Doom, & ASM are just a few to mention. Kinda bleh in my opinion.

Independent titles...Christ...where do I start?!? There were so many different releases that we couldn’t even fit everything up this week. About 12 titles are sitting in a stack and will be filled in as we sell out of titles. Undiscovered Country #1 is the new hot Image book of the week. Image also has Death & Glory, Dead Eyes, Space Bandits, and Manifest Destiny as well.

Several of those IDW published Marvel books for kids are releasing as well as a new Rick & Morty, an Over the Garden Wall, and a Duck Tales. All for the lil’ ones.

Vengeance of Vampirella has a few really pretty covers, White Widow #3 is out like a year after #1...keep up that stupid schedule guys. Way to kill any hype your book had. There’s seriously too much to mention...just have a peek.

Now let’s talk about the fun shit. Ya know...the stuff that ya wanna play in the tub with?!? No?!? Shit...I just outed myself on the chain. Oh well...It’s toy time bitches...and there’s a healthy amount of em in today that made my bank account cry for mercy.

Tons of Funko Pops as usual. Lineups for this week include Frozen 2, James Bond 007, and sone College Football Mascots weirdly enough. Funko also releases Frozen 2 blind box Mystery Mini’s Incase you want to try your luck snagging an Anna...only to be let down with another Olaf...fucking Olaf...

Another Batman Black & White statue along with a Kotobukiya Iron Man piece make up the higher end additions for the week. Not one but TWO Michael Meyers Halloween figures arrived because, why not have overkill. Some of those shitty Predator & Injustice figures, that stupid Red Stormtrooper Star Wars figure which by the way...sone assfuck has been calling like every 4 days for the past 2 months about. I would bet my shop on it that now that it’s in, he ghosts us. Happens all the time. Oh, and thanks Hasbro for changing the way these figures are distributed. Now I have to order solid cases of each figure. Hope the exec who made that call gets...well gets...uh...I’ll go easy on him today. I hope he gets a lot of mud butt at his next business meeting. There...I didn’t wish him death as I wanted to. I think I’m turning a corner here or something.
