This year for the first time I planted some red zinnias and white cleome flowers together. I love the combination and definitely plan on doing it again next year.

The below photo I think this is Safari Red Marigold.
I wish I could teach myself to save the tags that come with the plants I purchase and also save empty seed packets for future reference.

These bright red berries caught my attention. They were growing close to the side of the road. I stopped and took a couple of pictures.

I'm definitely planning on it. They both are soo easy to grow too 🤗 !! A lot of my flowers have past their peak. Summer goes way to fast here.
@annephilbrick beautiful flowers, I love the color of the marigold. A trick I do with plants is take an old window blind, the plastic ones and cut one in 6 to 8-inch pieces, I write the name of the plant on it with a sharpie and stick the writing end down it the dirt/ground or pot that plant is in. This way the sun does not fade the writing and all I need to do is pull it up to see what it is.

I will keep my eye for some old plastic windows blinds at the recycling place.

@annephilbrick one blind will last a lifetime, I do not know how many you can make from one but one for a regular size window I can get four tags from one slat.
