Corona and coffee in China

(Edited)

I am in Xiamen so there is a province between us and Wuhan. The epidemic rules/advice are mostly followed here. So most people only go out when they have to and practically everybody wears a face mask. Also, places where people come together like restaurants, libraries etc are all closed. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten coffee making stuff so for now I will have to make do with instant type coffee. This has not bean a fun experience :P

Today I tried drip bag coffee for the first time. It is okay, definitely better than the coffee powder stuff. I was thinking that the strong flavoured one must taste reasonable since I am pretty sure that grinding beans more than a couple of months ago decreases its flavour. The flavour was a bit weak, but it definitely tastes like coffee. I suspect that if I decrease the added water I can get better results. Or if that doesn't help I will just put the grinded beans in my mouth and add hot water :P

They don't allow you in the few places that are open (like supermarkets) if you don't wear a mask. So it is a requirement if you want to go out for the necessities.
