Winter wedding

(Edited)

This afternoon I played at a wedding in a little town called Jindera. The quaint little church is home to a small pipe organ which is just right for the size of the church. The acoustics are very favourable.

I have had a rough past week—my eldest daughter (@principal8) was hospitalised due to high fevers that caused febrile convulsions. She is back home now and recovering slowly (thank God!). Over the last few days, I've caught the cold too and have been feeling congested and lacking energy. I'm glad everything still worked out today and was able to push through. Now it's time to rest and recover so that I can be back on my feet 100% again.

The music today was as follows:

Processional: Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring - Johann Sebastian Bach
Offertory: Love Divine, All Loves Excelling
Communion: Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
Signing of the Register: Panis Angelicus - Cesar Franck
Consecration to Our Lady: Ave Maria - Franz Schubert
Recessional: Arrival of the Queen of Sheba - George Frideric Handel

The title piqued my interest; especially as it is full summer over here and 35 degrees in the shadow in the garden. That's quite a difference.
Good to hear your daughter is recovering. Having two sons myself, I know where I am most vulnerable: the well being of my children.
