Drama - Inspired by real events, however the film has scenes added to the story, and earned Will Smith Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for best actor.

Chris Gardner (Will Smith) faces serious financial problems and Linda, his wife, decides to leave, and decides to leave her 5 year old son with him, now he is a single father and needs to take care of Christopher.

In search of a job, Gardner only gets a trainee position and still unpaid at a stockbroker, but his interest that in the end was hired, however without money to pay the rent, comes an eviction order and the father and son will live in road. Chris and Christopher go to sleep in shelters or wherever they get a refuge, keeping the hope that the better days will come soon.

Everyone who works knows how good it feels to be productive and active. And this film portrays that feeling of completeness well and that can be felt with even more vigor by those who have gone through moments of profound discouragement and deprivation, because to win it is necessary to face the daily challenges and obstacles.

Chris had all the possible problems in his life, they were bills, they were debts, family problems. But when the internship finally ends, Chris is called to be hired and embraces everyone, later opening his consulting firm and becoming a reference in the industry, turning the corner.

What Chris did not lack was persistence: never giving up, this is the strong point of Chris Gardner's story. Despite all the problems that would need to be faced, the difficulties and obstacles, the persistence and his capacity to overcome, are perhaps the greatest lessons learned in his history.

Happiness is not something to be bought, nor is it eternal, because after all, it is dynamic and something different for each person. It is happiness that motivates us and even forces us to make most things possible.

The pursuit of happiness is the fuel that moves humanity.

I thoroughly enjoyed this #movie! I love the dialogue in the hiring scene near the end...

BOSS: What would you say if I hired a guy who wasn't wearing a shirt?
CHRIS: I'd say he must've had on some really nice pants.

I think I paraphrased a bit, but it was so good! Thanks for the review... I'll have to re-watch it. :)

The film is extraordinary, it shows us the strength and persistence of Chris Gardner when he finds the meaning of life, of suffering and in the face of all the obstacles that he advances, renews and finds his space in life.

It's always worth watching again "
