Movie news: Paramount announced a new Transformers movie
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Paramount Pictures Studios has announced that it has begun work on a new movie based on the "Transformers" animated series, a project that will be unrelated to Michael Bay's previous series of films, and the recent "Bumblebee" solo film.
However, the project will be produced by the same individuals who worked on the previous films of this cinematic universe - Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto.
Marvel's Defenders show runner Marco Ramirez, who also worked on the cult drama Sons of Anarchy and Netflix's Daredevil, is already confirmed as the scriptwriter, so hypothetically we are probably waiting for the darkest film about these famous robots.
By the way, it would be interesting to know which of the movies of this universe you like the most? As a big 80's fan I'm in love with Bumblebee :)
Not the biggest of fans of the genre but I am glad, based upon the returning members, that it will not a watered down version like I read is happening to a lot of films in this arena.
