Sparsely populated streets and a haiku translation

Today the traffic flow on the streets of Xiamen is very similar to a Sunday in my hometown in the Netherlands. Probably from tomorrow people will go to work so I expect some more restaurants to open. Most of eating places which open at the moment only do delivery or take out so I suspect this will carry over to next week as the corona spread hasn't really decreased.

I had a hard time with this haiku but I think the translation came out pretty nicely

仕送り(しおくり)の
荷物の全てが
母の愛

Complete suitcase of support is mother's love.

I am fine, but a bit bored. Unfortunately, VPN has been very unstable over here so access to the outside world has been a bit difficult. I almost finished a new publication though so that's good. :P
