One of the fastest chess games I've ever had (no, no scholar's mate)

Before sleeping I always play some blitz games on chess.com and something really weird happened to me some minutes ago (even more so on the +1700 levels on chess.com), a game that only lasted 16 moves and, although it's really not as short as you might have thought, it's one of the first games I play this way in my whole chess career (at least as far as I remember)

The game started with a defense Alekhine, all completely normal, is not an opening that I have studied, but I just played it by instinct (although with several inaccuracies), the game is 3 minutes anyway, so it's not something I can think about for long.

It ended like this:

If you want to see how weird (and very fast) the game was, here is the whole game in algebraic notation:

  1. e4 Nf6
  2. e5 Nd5
  3. d4 d6
  4. c4 Nb6
  5. Nc3 g6
  6. a4 dxe5
  7. a5 exd4
  8. axb6 dxc3
  9. Qxd8+ Kxd8
  10. Rxa7 cxb6
  11. Rxa8 Kc7
  12. Bf4+ Kc6
  13. Rxb8 Bf5
  14. bxc3 Bh6
  15. Rxh8 Bxf4
  16. Nf3

It's really amazing how despite being experienced players you can still reach childish positions, chess is a very beautiful game and no matter how much you know how to play, at any time you can have stupid games like this one. :)
