❇️ BIOHACKING: I'M A PILL POPPIN' STACKIN' ADDICT!

avatar

What's up STACKERS!

Are supplements a waste of money? Do they work? Are they necessary for overall health and wellness? 🤷‍♂️

I have no idea, I'm just a biohacker... in other words a Guiana Pig. 😅

*Biohacking may refer to: Do-it-yourself biology, biotechnological social movement in which individuals and small organizations study biology using the same methods as traditional research institutions.

Are we all somewhat biohackers in life? 🙋‍♂️

Many of us tend to try to new experiments on ourselves to improve our lives and supplementations are one of them. 💊 💊 💊

For over 20+ years, I'm always on the lookout for new ways to improve my mode, sleep, attitude, energy, mental awareness, focus, and overall well-being.

Do these supplements help? Til' this day I have no idea but I'm always trying out and researching new things.

The picture here displays all the stuff I take on a daily bases.... Everyday.

IMG_1493.jpg

Can all this be expensive to do? Hell yeah it is, all this shit isn't cheap but in my opinion I do feel 10X better taking this stuff.

Is this just a placebo effect? It can be... isn't the main reason to take this stuff is to try to feel and look better?

If that is the case, placebo or not... it makes me feel great. 😂

I have much more "weird stuff" that I take but that is for another day... some things are too "tin foil hat" to talk about right now. HAHA

So do you guys take supplements? Do you have any weird ones that you do take everyday that you think works?

I would like to hear about them so I can try them out!

Keep On STACKIN! 😎

I've been thinking about getting into the bio hacking. I take some stuff and believe it helps but I rather keep in peak physical contention for my age. Have you found anything that you feel has made the biggest impact?

Also I hear liquid works better then pill form ?

One supplement that works for everyone no matter what your age, it’s magnesium, a drink at night and you will sleep better than a newborn baby.

I'm a sucker for supplements too. But you nailed it when you spoke about the placebo effect. Even if they don't actually work, as long as you feel better taking them, then they kind of are working in a weird way. I feel like I can definitely tell the difference with some of the supplements that claim to help with anxiety.

Totally agree! I drink some organic tea with tons of herbs in it for my anxiety. I think it works 😂

I'll be making a post about this but for the most part your intuition already holds the answer, no. You don't actually need supplements if your diet has enough macro and micronutrients to fuel your entire day and keep your homeostasis.

Unless of course, a nutritional deficiency is affecting your system.

P.D: I'd appreciate your review on my latest post btw. I write blogs about fitness for busy entrepreneurs and professionals.
