Saludos a toda la comunidad, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una pintura digital que hice en el programa de software libre Krita de una fotografía de mi compañero y fotógrafo Nica Guerrero.
Esta foto la tomó en una comunidad popular caraqueña llamada Pinto Salinas en el año 2019, de una serie llamada Los otros carnavales. En estas celebraciones nadie se salva, los fotógrafos que fueron los bañaron de agua al igual que a todo el que pasara por allí.
Desde que vi esa foto quise pintarla y años después aquí está, espero les guste.
Primero pinté la base y luego la textura o el color 2 del personaje. Cuando usas una base color oscura siempre la textura es muy interesante.
Greetings to the entire community, today I want to share with you a digital painting that I made in the free software program Krita of a photograph of my partner and photographer Nica Guerrero.
This photo was taken in a popular Caracas community called Pinto Salinas in 2019, from a series called Los otros carnavales. In these celebrations no one is saved, the photographers who were bathed in water as well as everyone who passed by.
Since I saw that photo I wanted to paint it and years later here it is, I hope you like it.
First I painted the base and then the texture or color 2 of the character. When you use a dark base, the texture is always very interesting.
Agregué los lentes, la pintura, los dientes y boca, todo esto siempre por capas de tal forma que cualquier error pueda solventarlo de manera más eficaz.
I added the lenses, the paint, the teeth and the mouth, all of this always in layers in such a way that any error can be solved more effectively.

Agregué colores bien vivos para la peluca. I added very bright colors for the wig.
Sombras y trazo. Shadows and stroke.
Utilicé el mismo color de la textura de la piel para el fondo, me encanta este color. I used the same color of the skin texture for the background, I love this color.
Luego las bases de la gente y las casas. Then the bases of the people and the houses.
El cielo, los detalles y el trazo. The sky, the details and the line.
Esta es la paleta que usé para esta pintura, la descargué de una aplicación online llamada Coolors, se las recomiendo ya que tiene muchas opciones, puedes sacar paletas nuevas, sacar paletas de una fotografía, tiene bastantes recursos que pueden ayudarte a la hora de elegir tus colores.
This is the palette that I used for this painting, I downloaded it from an online application called Coolors, I recommend them since it has many options, you can take new palettes, take palettes from a photograph, it has many resources that can help you when choosing your colors.
